Software Engineer – YouTrack Apps (m/f/d)

We are twenty20, one of the most active teams developing YouTrack extensions within the JetBrains ecosystem. We develop our own apps, create custom solutions for clients, and work closely with JetBrains. If you’re interested in developing products used in YouTrack instances around the world, you’ve come to the right place.

Your mission

You will be responsible for developing YouTrack apps, working closely with Product Management, UI/UX, Marketing, Sales, and Consulting. Your journey begins with certification as a YouTrack Certified Technical Partner.

Your tech stack

• Very good knowledge of TypeScript.
• Experience with React or a comparable component-based framework.
• Practical experience with Tailwind CSS or willingness to learn quickly.
• Confident use of modern web technologies (HTML, CSS) and clean component design.
• Experience with RESTful APIs (requests, authentication, pagination, error handling).
• Node/npm tooling: you can understand and customize build pipelines and scripts.
• Git-based workflow (feature branches, code reviews; ideally with GitHub/GitLab).

Your profile

• Approximately 3+ years of experience in web/software development (JS/TS)
• Experience in independently developing features or products
• A structured approach to work and the ability to deliver in an iterative manner
• Personal responsibility combined with team feedback
• Excellent knowledge of German
