• Plain language: Parts of the website are not yet available in plain language.
  Alternative: Content is continuously being simplified and supplemented.
• PDF and download documents: Some PDF files and graphics available for download are not yet accessible.
  Alternative: Accessible versions will be made available gradually; we will send you content in a suitable format on request.
• Multimedia content: Some older videos do not have subtitles or audio descriptions.
  Alternative: New videos are published with subtitles; existing media are reworked.

Measures to improve accessibility

Accessibility is an integral part of our quality management. With every editorial or technical change, we check compliance with the BITV NRW and WCAG 2.1. External specialist bodies are consulted as required in order to regularly evaluate progress.
