For working students and dual students, curiosity, initial coding experience, and a willingness to learn new topics are enough. We'll teach you about the YouTrack ecosystem, the specific APIs, and our tooling.

That depends on where you start. As a software engineer, you can take on the role of product lead for one of our apps in the medium term—including roadmap, discovery, and customer interaction. As a working student, you will gradually grow into the team with clear prospects for a permanent position. And in the dual study program, we aim to hire you after graduation. With us, you don't just work on features—you build real products.

For the software engineer role, we are looking for approximately 3+ years of experience in web/software development in the JavaScript/TypeScript environment. It is essential that you have already independently implemented at least one product or a major feature. For our working student and dual study positions, curiosity and initial coding experience are particularly important.

JetBrains IDEs (WebStorm/IntelliJ), YouTrack for project management, GitLab for code and CI/CD, and, of course, our own tech stack: TypeScript, React, Tailwind CSS. You can choose your own equipment (Mac or Windows) – including a JetBrains All-Products license.

We work in an agile manner, but without religious zeal. Our daily routine is asynchronous and collaborative—we use YouTrack (obviously) for our planning. Sprints give us rhythm and focus, but we don't bog ourselves down with unnecessary ceremonies or marathon meetings.

We don't just sell knowledge, we consume it too. Whether it's conferences, online courses, or time spent on open-source contributions—if it helps you advance professionally, it helps us advance as a team.

No. We work remotely with a high degree of personal responsibility and flexible arrangements. Collegial leadership, short communication channels, little politics, a lot of trust. We meet regularly for events or co-working days at our offices in Langenfeld or Meddersheim. In everyday life, your place of residence is secondary as long as communication is good.
