How we support you with the migration
Step by step from Jira to YouTrack
In an initial meeting, we clarify the details and scope of the existing environment in Jira. We discuss how the future YouTrack instance should be operated technically and clarify all questions relating to licensing.
Together, we get a picture of the data to be migrated from Jira and Confluence, which is to be imported into YouTrack. Of course, this also includes projects, tickets, comments, users, authorizations and authentication.
We are at your side with our extensive experience in Jira, Confluence and YouTrack to take into account even the smallest details of complex workflows and processes during the migration.
Once all data has been copied to YouTrack and all workflows and processes have been migrated, an intensive test and transition phase begins. The first users will then be able to work with YouTrack and put it through its paces.
During the transition phase, the Youtrack migration assistant ensures that changes in Jira are also kept up to date in YouTrack. This means that no inconsistencies are created during the parallel operation phase. Nevertheless, it is advisable to keep the transition phase as short as possible.
Existing users can start working in YouTrack gradually (e.g. after the end of the project) or on a fixed date (e.g. shortly before the end of the Jira license term). Once the migration is complete, we will of course continue to be available to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
